Our founder

Tiffany Lenau discovered her passion for yoga in the early 90's and developed a strong personal practice in the years to follow. She holds certifications in both Ashtanga and Kripalu lineages and is the director of Yoga Roots and Healing Arts, a sacred space for healing, peace and presence in Petoskey, Michigan. Tiffany is the founder of Be the Love Yoga Teacher Training School and is passionate about training teachers. She always enjoys the depths, it's a truly transformational experience for her students.

Tiffany believes that yoga is for every BODY, offering fun, mindful and creative flows for ages "4 to 104" making the practice accessible to all. Tiffany offers chair, acro, partner, kids, laughter yoga, yoga nidra and sound healing. She teaches everything from a gentle/restorative to a power vinyasa, numerous styles of meditation, and pranayama breath-work. She has lectured on forgiveness and choosing love as a guiding force for business groups and college courses.

Tiffany is the creator of Ananda Festival an annual celebration of yoga, music, meditation and healing arts in Wolverine, Michigan. Her intention is to introduce more meditation, sound healing and sacred music to her community, and to support fellow healing artists.

Tiffany is a practicing Reiki Master and Integrated Positional Therapist. She has developed a one-on-one healing practice which includes personalized yoga instruction, energy-work, body-work and sound healing. In these sessions clients discover a better understanding of their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing process. Balance, clarity, connection and peacefulness describe the holistic experience she provides.

As a survivor of sexual assault, Tiffany is passionate about creating healing spaces and retreats for other trauma survivors. She finds solace in gardening, art, large bodies of water, like-hearted people and mother nature.
